LES CRETES, CHAMOIS ET HOHNECK

The route des Crêtes, 77 km long and strategically constructed during the Great War 1914-18. The route passes over the Grand Ballon, highest summit of the massif des Vosges, the Hohneck and the Col de la Schlucht. Today, the route offers magnificent panoramas: lakes, valleys, summits... Possible to observe the chamois or wild mountain goats, the black forest and the Alpes from different viewpoints. At 15 min from the campsite!
